All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive at the time of booking confirmation or upon collection of the vehicle. This agreement outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, applicable charges, and your responsibilities for the rental. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Vehicle Rental Requirements
- To hire a vehicle from Car Hire in Wednesbury, you must be at least 21 years old, although age restrictions may differ based on the vehicle type. A valid driving licence for the appropriate category is required, along with proof of identity and your current address. Payment details and a security deposit must also be provided, along with any other conditions outlined in the Rental Agreement.
Booking and Payment Details
- Reservations for car hire can be made via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Wednesbury office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The remaining balance and a security deposit are usually payable at the time of vehicle collection. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where relevant. We accept major credit and debit cards, with transactions processed securely through trusted payment platforms.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle pickup in Wednesbury, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be created and must be signed to confirm the vehicle's state. When returning the vehicle, it should be in the same condition as it was when collected, barring normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charges may apply. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup; refueling fees will be charged if it is returned with less fuel. You remain accountable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount, except where additional insurance applies. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violations of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance coverage.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. Review your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for precise information. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows could incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities, including racing, rallying, or off-road driving. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or allowing unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Use the vehicle only for its intended purpose and within the designated passenger and weight limits. Driving outside the specified geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Car Hire Wednesbury will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may result from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the total rental fee paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
9. Local Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
